Can anyone tell me if the length of the hair affects the ability to flat iron/press the hair? I was told by a friend of mine that my solia didn't work for me because my hair is short. Is this true? I hate the fact that I spent this $ and am unable to get a strait hair style.:ohwell: My hubby allowed me to get a maxiglide, but my hair is too short to use it. Please somebody give me any tips that helped them. I'd love to get a strait style without chemicals.

Have you tried using a smaller sized flat iron? When my hair was shorter I found that a 1 inch flat iron worked best. Even now that my hair is longer I still use the 1 inch because it get the roots better than the bigger ones.

I have the 1" size. I just don't know what I'm doing wrong.

Its more about the method than the flat iron. How do you prepare your hair for flat ironing?
