Hi ladies,
I want to start clipping my own ends, but it is really difficult to recognize the split ends. Is blowing drying it straight the only way I can do this?

She will blow dry my hair before trimming, is this what I'll have to do also?
Anyway, I just pulled each side of my hair to the front and clipped off the unwanted length. Then end result was a v-shape in the back. I think it's best to have your hair as straight as possible. Otherwise let a pro do it. My stylist cut my hair in the natural state a few months back and she cut off my tail. So now my hair is more u-shaped in the back.
). I dont knowhow and why some stylists jack people up like that.
And the front is the area that I want to be longer.
