The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.
If what I'm doing results in not retaining length the way I should or some other hair issue then I would simply alter my techniques and/or products untill I got my desired progress/results.
Our hair is virtually never the issue when we encounter an obstacle along our journey, its our approach that needs re-evaluation.
