Naturals: What temperature do you get your hair straightened or straighten your hair?

Hey, y'all. I'm getting my hair straightened on Saturday and would like to know a safe temperature to tell the stylist to use. She's using a Chi, but I don't know if it has a temperature gauge. If it does, great! If not, I'll bring my maxiglide just in case.

My hair texture is coarse so on the maxi I use setting #5, and on the FHI, setting 400 was used.

It has to be about around 380-400 degrees for my hair to get straight. If you have fine hair you shouldn't need it quite as high.

I believe my stylist uses a flat iron that is usually set to 400 degrees or maybe even a little higher. High I know- but I like the bone straight look
