Her hair is full and thick. But we're talking 5 YEARS people! 5 loooonnnggg yyyeeeaaarrrrsss only to get a little past APL!
I agree. But her hair looks nice. Won't take that away from her. I've seen a lot of "WL" and "TL" on here that is just some scraggly ends barely brushing the line.

You're on this forum which I can say means you're probably in a better position than folks like me who didn't find this forum until i was almost 5 years in on my journey (and still only SL). Don't use her as an indication of your progress b/c there are others who illustrate how consistent care leads to consistent retention. I remember after watching Kimmytube's journey thinking that, 'dang she'd been natural since 1999' but she had hair drama and didn't know what she was doing. Once she got it, well...the rest is history![]()
at first, before viewing the vid, i thought everyone was just making excuses for klezibaby88 for some reason. because having been an active participant on the forum the last year or so it's clear that everyone has pretty high expectations about where one should be in 4.5 to 5yrs. so i can see what Cherrybaby is saying: after 5yrs i would expect to see WL for someone who claims to have been on an HHJ.
BUT @*CherryPie* i think you should consider that this woman has grown two heads of hair in the specified time! she completely cut out all her colour (and she was at APL in 09 With the brown hair) and regrew to APL again in 2010. i think she's on track w/ length retention considering that and beautifully thick and healthy looking to boot![]()
Right. Its important to remember that going natural doesn't mean that you're hair going to automatically flourish. Just like if you suddenly start moisturizing and sealing, relaxed hair will spring to life. It requires a lifestyle change
