I ask because I am doing micros on my daughters hair and her ends doesn't want to seem to lay down unless I do really small braids (by the way I ain't doing these no more) I want her ends to stay smooth in the braids, Next time I want to do bigger braids or cornrows but I just want to know what to do with the ends?

I guess I can lightly press the ends, because she loves her curls but I am not able to comb her hair daily and before the braids were put in we did a good deep conditioner to her hair and they aren't tight at all.

But if anyone has any suggestions Please share.

Thanks

When I would get braids and cornrows, I did not go to my braider with pressed (or even blow-dried) hair. My braider would use gel (Like Fantasia IC gel) to smooth down the hair while braiding. Also, she used human or synthetic hair for length and holding(?) purposes.

I hope this helps....

Okay thank you Relaxer Rehab because I really don't want to press it & I do have some fantasia ic gel and I will use that to finish, I did 90% of her hair with nothing and it stayed pretty smooth but the top is so soft and springy but wild, I will do just that and let you know how it turns out.

Thanks
