Ok...I am hearing much hype about this product. It has been discontinued but Odd Lots and other "we get the left over junk" stores are carrying it.

A few naturals have said that they condition wash their hair and put a handful of this in their rinsed hair and the coils (if you have coils and curls) come out a-boinging!

Can anyone give me any feed back? Do you use it? Do you like it? Should you chuck it? Should I hunt it down like an escaped convict from Alcatraz?!?!?!

Re: Naturals: SALON SELECTIVES LOOSELY DEFINED CR

I used it when my hair was short(big chop 2" to about 4-5"). It has a great smell, it doesn't dry crunchy unless you use too much. I used it on soaking wet hair straight out of the shower. It did define my coils a little better but nothing major. HTH!

Yep, I use it, but I like it the best when I use it as a setting lotion when I set my hair on sponge rollers at night.

It makes my curls defined, yet soft and shiny... not crispy at all!!

I've used it a few times on a wash n go and it works pretty well for that too.

My BF got me a stash of the stuff from the Big Lots store near where he lives in MD...

I rarely wear a shake-n-go now because of my hair's length...I would get tangles galore!

When I do wear one, or a puff with a headband, fresh out of shower(rendition of wash n go without the tangles), I use castor oil most of the time.

I also found it great as a setting lotion. I just got more bottles(thanks Patience!)

You're welcome!!

Pookeylou-
I've used it but I didn't like it that well. It did a good job defining my curls but left my hair kind of dry and I didn't like that. Hence, the swap with SweetCoccoa.

I have some bottles of it but I really didn't care one way or the other about it. I would get the same effect from a leave in like Aveda, Giovanni, etc.
