So I'm trying out a new stylist to help me care for my newly natural hair. I'm going in for a wash, conditioner, and trim (shaping) and the charge is $50. Is this in the correct ballpark for pricing?

I used to go for a wash, condition, press and trim for 45 dollars...you're just getting your natural hair shaped? I personally wouldn't pay that much, especially when 2 out of the 3 things you can easily do yourself. But if ya got it why not? I ain't got it lol

I'm thinking I'm getting hookwinked. 50 is a bit much for what's going down. But then again, I've wasted a day standing in the mirror trying to figure it out and I'm tired of dealing with it for now. LOL.

Thanks ladies.
