naturals- need something to rollerset my hair that won't revert it

I recently straightened my hair with a flat iron and I want to roll it over night to have some curls. The setting lotion I have is water based and I don't want to revert my hair. Any suggestions on what I can use?

my hair is thick & heavy so it can handle heavy oils
i usually use jane carter nourish and shine pomade
and a lot of ladies on this site recommend coconut oil
setting lotions do nothing 4 me

I use Qhemet heavy cream and it dosen't revert my hair but if you're looking for something you can buy in the store Cantu Break Cure is very good.
