Naturals: how should I trim

I want to trim my hair in twists , should the twists be dry or wet?
P.s I do not want to use any form of heat

Mine are damp when I snip the ends because I do it right after a wash. I don't think it makes much difference wet or dry. May be a little easier to do dry because the hair will be less slippery. But I have no problems doing it on damp twists.

I trim it dry. I don't think it should make a difference really.
