I flat ironed my hair every 3 to 4 months!
Before andAfter the straightening period (usually 2 to 4 weeks)I use le kair cholesterol mixed with natural oils (carrot, palm, olive, castor, coconut...) +avocado +eggs+ water+ coconut milk+ beef narrow+sheabutter........as prepoo (2 hours to all night)........... shampoo and condition (1 hour) with a cheapie (ultradoux Garnier it's like Suave) and clarify with ACV at last!

I WILL ADD PROTEIN TO MY REGIMEN (thank you Chicoro) TO STRENGHTEN MY HAIR AFTER THE STRAIGHTENING PERIOD (AFFIRM 5 N 1 RECONSTRUCTOR ) EVERY 6 TO 8 WEEKS

B/c my hair is always out (not braided or anything), I can't help but to switch it up all the time. I flat iron once a month, also to see how much growth I have. I always use some Frederic Fekkai's Overnight Hair Repair afterwards to prevent breakage, it helps.

This year I started rollersetting once a week, I take the flat iron on low and straighten my roots, usually one touch will do it, my ends are straight from the rollerset, this is working good for me.

I straighten every 1-2 months using a flatiron. I usually deep condition before and after the process using Nexus Therappe(shampoo), Humectruss, and ORS to deep condition.

I plan to flat iron in the next month or so. I have been natural for 7 years and I haven not seen my hair straight in 5 years, after letting a salon blow my hair out.

These days I straighten once every 2 or three months.

I try to lessen potential damage before and during.

Before straightening, I like to use Aphogee Treatment. For maintenance, I prefer coconut oil due to its affinity for proteins. Also during this time, I will dust the ends. Afterwards, I like a moisturizing conditioner such as Kenra Moisturizing or sometimes I'll use a light protein conditioner such as Aubrey GPB.

i flat iron or blow out every 2 months. and i leave my hair flat ironed for 1 month so i dont wash my hair for a 3-4 week period. i also dust my ends when flat ironed.i try to limit any touch up flat ironing during the month my hair is straight and just do pin curling and steam sets. also i baggy my ends when i am not pin curling.

this doesnt disturb my hair strands to much. I clarify the week after for product buildup, then the following week do a protien treatment.

I roller set every other week and sometimes flat iron some of the roots (usually just the front). I go to the Dominicans for a roller set and root blow out when I can afford it (once every two months ?).
