Naturals - How does your hair.....

Depends on how many days post wash/style it is.

Generally first day hair will go in a out/down direction, b/c my front/crown is floppy. By Day 3 the hair has loosened/puffed up and the two sides of my crown look like they're rising to meet each other.

I generally massage my scalp a lil each day, and that makes it expand also. It's like each curl/clump further divides itself each day so the hair just keep getting bigger and bigger and moving closer to the sky.

My hair sticks out and up. Its not to the point where its long or heavy enough to lay down. I dont think it ever will and right now Im ok with that. The only time it will lay down is if its in a twistout or pulled to lay flat.

I texturized my hair because I wanted it to stop being up and out. But I am such a chicken about loosening my curl that it isn't natural but it is still up and out!

I want it to hang down so that my progress can be seen. I am almost APL now and my hair shrinks up and looks the same as it did when I was NL. I can't stand that :wallbash:

... as it got longer it turned into this awful mushroom cloud. ...

i got some rainbow action going on LOL...it does not fall straight down, it goes out and then begins to arc downward :)

 at mushrooms and rainbows. Like this?

I find a lot of people like it to fall down. Why is that?

Not trying to be funny but I absolutely love my stick-up hair coz how else could I get a BAA that's bada$$? Or a nice puff like MizzBrit's? I love that I can do that and STILL get a floppy do by wearing a twistout. I love hair that is obedient and holds the do that you tell it to hold. Am I the only one that doesn't want hair that flops?

I'm in the military so the longer my hair grows it could become problematic if it becomes unable to neatly coif. Your hair can't protrude more than 3 inches. Period. There is no hidden meaning. That's as deep as it gets for me. :look:

The front part falls in my face, lol. It took a while for my hair to 'drop' though. As my sister calls it, I went through the 'awkward stage'. lol.

In it's "resting state", the front of my hair (which is much finer than the rest) has never stood up even when it was shorter. The rest of my hair hangs out as it dries.

My hair just flops; I wish it would grow out and have some volume. I really envy those of you who can have those great puffs.

Nope. I love hair that sticks up. Do to the fineness of my strands and my current length my hair tends to flop a little more, particularly after a nice henna and a DC, but overall, my hair poofs and I like it that way.

Up and out for majority of my head. My back area 3c/4a area hangs down and out
