Naturals How Do You Wear Your Hair Everyday?

Wash and goes (or wash and wear/style) allow me to wear my hair out with some hangtime and without crazy tangles. I either wear it all out, some up/some down, puffs, pony puffs with a braid or flat twist in the front. Something simple.

Buns, mini twists pinned back or pinned up styles.I'm going for Rosa Parks all week.

Weekend: twistout, buns, pinned back styles.

I'm trying to go the entire 2015 without my wigs.
I'm 6 months in. Breaking every chain.

I wear a puff, wash n go, maybe a perm rod set if I'm not feeling lazy. Sometimes braided styles - 2 braids - one across the front - one french braid. But I also straighten my hair to get more styles. I style my hair a lot. And I never wear buns because I have a high forehead. Not a good look for me. Puffs are even iffy but I still wear them once in a while.

Pony puff occasionally. Want to get started on the roller sets by the end of the year. Mostly cornrows (no extensions) pinned up or a silk scarf on top of my cornrows and a nice crochet cap. This will get me past my awkward stage.

Best,
Almond Eyes

Wash n go I do it on Sunday and it lasts all week. I just wet and shake in the morning. It lasts through heavy workouts where I sweat.

So why can't you wear it how you've been wearing it? I'm not understanding... did it get too long?

nah. i wear sew ins off and on. the goal was to weave it up til bsl. im there now but natural... it kind of doesnt even matter, between the shrinkage it may as well not be. so now i want to stop wearing them but cant figure out what to do with my hair.

its long enough now that it should be easy to style... at least that was the hope anyway... but everything looks like a little girl, in puffs or curls... lol

i think ive fallen victim to weave reliance :ohwell:

My every day hair do is a wash n go cause i'm lazy but I can braid, twist, knot, flat iron, blow out if the mood strikes me.

I wear WNGs, TOs and Braid Outs. I work in the financial industry, so I have to keep it professional.

No WNGs for me because my hair is not about that life. I usually do braid outs, braid-n-twist outs, and a variety of high, low, medium buns. From now until fall, I will be wearing lots of buns because it is too hot. My hair is finally BSL, but shrinks to NL with tons of volume. My hair is at least 5 inches longer than it was in my profile pic, but still sits at that length when I wear it out (just a lot bigger).

I usually where my hair pulled back, but I can't stand it anymore. Plus I want to give my edges a break.

I'm now thinking of rocking a wash and go everyday instead, but I don't want to be washing my hair every 2 days just to maintain a nice looking one.

Are y'all doing the wash n' go everyday washing your hair frequently?

I'm down to washing once a week. During the week I just wet in the shower in the morning and shake and I'm ready to go. Check out the fall/winter wash n go challenge for tips and tricks. When I first started doing wash n goes I was doing it everyday now I only do it on Sunday's in preparation for the week.

I like to wash frequently- say every 2/3 or 4 days. Not because it looks bad but because I finger detangle exclusively. So it makes removing my shed tiny coils just that much easier when there is less to get rid of.

I wash about twice a week now. Once during the weekend and once during the week. I maintain my hair my pineappling at night. I don't rewet. When it was too short to pineapple, I dampened it in the shower, shook it out and kept it moving.
