when you've just washed your hair and need to go on the road i.e.,mall, party, movie, wherever and dont want to wear a cap etc?

I put it in a ponytail or bun and accessorize according to the occasion. :)

hmm I need to know because I'm sitting here with a head dripping wet and I need to go grab some food. I just threw a Goody Ouchless band and I'm bout to hit the road. I'll do my hair later.

Go with it wet in a chunky fro, wear a chunky fro with a scarf around it, or wear a cute headwrap.

i wash and while i comb out i applied an oil based conditioner and air dry

Ditto the wash and go. I just shake my hair after a CW add a styling product if desired and a hair accessory. I do this almost daily.

Slick back into a low puff with side part, or hit it with a diffuser to dry quicker and put in a high puff.

I have no idea. I always make sure I have a 3hr block after washing to do my twists.

Okay than, a nice wash/shake 'n go with an accessory or headband of so sort...viola! Rocking hair!

If I'm in a hurry I do a wash n go and dry it with a diffuser instead of air drying. (Is it still a wash n go if u dry before u go??...lol...)

I just leave as I am or I throw on a headband, sometimes a ponytail holder.

Girl slick it back in a puff with a beautiful head scarve.

I still haven't mastered the wash n go but I can wash and pony or wash and puff. So if I'm pressed for time and I somehow woke up with a tangled bird's nest, I just cw with a conditioner that makes my hair especially piable (like Suave Humectant or Pantene Hydrating Curls) and then smooth my hair into a pony, puff or bun while wet putting gel on the edges, smoothing with a boar bristle brush. It takes 5 mins to style if I'm super lazy I won't even detangle bit this can be a mess to handle later.

Ponytail or headband- but that's my daily style anyway; shampoo, ponytail, go about the day.
Very simple.

Mermaid when you wash and go do you comb or brush at any time during the process?

Headband, ponytail or scarf... If I plan on doing somethign later I cornrow it for a braid out. By the end of the day its dry and ready for the next days styling :)

I envy you ladies who are able to air dry your hair...The couple of times I tried that I ended with some seriously dry mess, so now I make sure I have nowhere to go before I wash my hair. And if I gotta go somewhere after putting in my big ugly post-wash braids, I just put on a scarf and go. Maybe I'll try again air-drying once I find the right moisturizer for me :)
