Naturals - How do you do your Wash n Go's??

I need some instructions for my daughter's hair. I'm not sure of her hair type, but I think it 4a. It's mostly wavy and more relaxed in the front. But the back is more dense and coily. What routine and products give you the best definition of curls/waves? Her hair is very thick/dense and it frizzes really easily. I can't even do her hair in a ponytail it's so thick.

I'm tired of doing 4 and 5 ponytials all of the time. Twists takes forever and they don't last long. From time to time I straighten it, but it doesn't last long. I'd like to be able to have her wear her own beautiful natural hair OUT without looking crazy. How can I solve this problem? Also please include links to naturals with instructions in their albums.

I don't like to do labor intensive styles on her because in a few days it looks busted again. Lately I've been thinking really hard about texturizing her hair to make it more managable, but I REALLY, REALLY am not ready to go this route yet. I want her to at least make it to puberty. I know ya'll can rescue me :D

hey armyqt, i feel you ! i have a six year old and believe it or not her hair is about bsl( I'm trying to be like her ):) anyway what I do with her 3c hair is do it on sunday night in a cornroll style, with a water bottle and ic gel and then maybe again on thursday. If I don't do something like that ,that will last for acouple of days then I make sure to use the water bottle and B&B oil moisturizer. Its the one with castor oil and aloe in it and not only makes that thick hair lay down but also gives it alot of moisture. hope that helps her to go as long as possible without having to go the chemical route;)

Thank you!! I used to use the B&B but it stopped working after a while. It's very good for moisturizing. I probably needed to clairfy and didn't realize it. I don't have that problem anymor though because I always give her ACV rinses. 3c is much easier to tame than the bush my daughter has . I really don't want to go the chemical route.

I'm going to experiment with her hair now. I'll be back with pics later. :D
