So far I haven't found anything at the drugstore that works now that I'm wearing my hair natural. Everything that used to work is now obsolete and I know I can't be the only one.
So I was thinking it would be nice to have a reference list for those who prefer the convenience of buying "off the rack" so to speak.

Nexxus, ORS, Motions (some of their at home products are nice, Elasta QP, Organix, Fantasia IC, etc. I buy most of my products from the Walgreens and Target.

Hollywood Beauty, Profectiv, ORS, Organics (some of my personal favorites for cremes, moisturizers and the like.) :yep: Creme of Nature (poos, condish), Suave (condish).

I love your siggy!! I use Suave (cowash), Lustrasilk Olive Oil Cholesterol (DC), NTM Recovery mask (DC), and Garnier (cowash) also some stores still carry the red CON poo and I use that...

:giggle: I'm silly, don't pay me any mind. lol
I'm glad you mentioned NTM and Garnier b/c I've been wanting to try those lines since my latest BC, but didn't want to waste anymore money on stuff that didn't work.

Which Garnier conditioner do you use?

I'm with that Hollywood Beauty-- I use the carrot creme. Oh, and I also like Lustrasilk with shea butter and mango. Both are cheap and really good.

Oh and VO5 condish-- in nourishing and clarifying. I think they are vanilla.

I like Herbal Essences Hello Hydration and Long Term Relationship. ORS Pak is good. Fantasia IC gel is my favorite and the Sunsilk defrizz leave-in actually helps my wash n go.

I 2nd (or 3rd) the Organix vote. I like the Smoothing Shea Butter and Coconut Oil conditioners for washing and leave-in.

These are some drug store products that work for me

pantene pro v moisture renewal/hydrating curls conditoners
elasta qp mango butter
FX silk drops
infusium 23 repairology leave in
cantu shea repair creame
Loreal vive conditioners
herbal essences breaks over
fantasia ic gel
cvs brand 100% aloe vera gel
Neutregena triple moisture line

yes i am a *recovering*pj

I third the hollywood beauty, the olive cream in the jar and the castor oil. I never knew why i stopped using the olive cream, you can even use it on your skin.

Lustrasilk Shea Butter Conditioner, S-Curl Styling Gel (Doesnt have any alcohol, and give great hold), S-Curl No Drip (I use this when I run out of my home-made mositurizing spritz).

Nexxus, ORS, Motions (some of their at home products are nice, Elasta QP, Organix, Fantasia IC, etc. I buy most of my products from the Walgreens and Target.

I like the Herbal Essence Hello Hydrating Conditioner which I bought at the grocery store. Um, the Creme of Nature Conditioner...hated it. BTW, I am so copying your make-up (in your siggy)...it's beautiful...:yep:.

I really like Suave humectant, V05 Strawberries and Cream, and Herbal Essences Hello Hydration. Aussie Moist is pretty good, too. Oh! And Fantasia IC gel is a must. :)

Great thread!!

Does pantene have sodium laurel (sp) sulfate in it? Does anyone who uses it find it drying?

Is aloe vera gel better than fantasia IC gel?

What is a good brand of shea butteris the best?

I am also going to try hollywood beauty, can't wait.

LOVEEEEEEEEEE me some ORS packs :drunk:... i cant seem to find the bottle, so i buy like 8 packs at a time.

The orange oil in it is addictive. :lick:
