Naturals: Do you use a liquid or a cream leave-in?

I use a creamy conditioner. Usually I use Cantu Shea with the kimmay recipe or Suave Almond & Shea butter conditioner. If I'm in a rush or don't have a leave in I will use any creamy leave in conditioner. I want to try a lighter conditioner the next time I straighten my hair to see if I will get more body.

When I wore my hair out 90% of the time I used a cream leave-in (doo gro), now that I'm in a full sew-in I used a liquid one (infusium 23).

I've used both -- it depends on how my hair has been feeling, what I plan to do with it, etc.

My current creamy leave in of choice is Skala Ceramides G3. It has great slip, and is thin enough to apply just a little and not have it dry too heavy on your hair.

The only liquid leave in I've ever truly been in love with (whether I'm planning to wear my hair natural or straighten) is Ojon Revitalizing Mist. I LOVE this stuff. Something I always end up repurchasing.

Actually right now I'm going through a couple weeks of no leave-in. I do this when my hair has been feeling over-conditioned (like if I've been doing too much con washing, or with the wrong cons). So I just rinse my hair in the shower and then apply jojoba oil to my damp hair. Coconut oil also works well for this.

I use only creamy leave-in since I been natural. When I was relaxed, I could get away with liquid.

Again, thank you ladies for your responses. I have decided to switch to a creamy leave-in. Giovanni, seems like a popular brand...

Depends on my hairstyle. If I'm wearing twists / braids, then I'll use a creamy leave-in. If my hair is in a bun, I'll use my own liquid leave-in mixture.

Really? Didn't think of gel being a leave-in, is it for wash and go-s and if so is this the only product you use on wet hair?

The world of curls brand that I use is not a traditional hard stiff gel, it is meant to be used as a moisturizer as most curl activators are also since they glycerin based. I use it to moisturize all my styles on wet and dry hair.

My hair responds really well to a liquid leave in. I usually use a creamy leave in straight after a liquid one. My hair doesn't respond crazily well to creamy leave-in's so I use them in conjunction.

Bumping this with a ????

Doesn't matter what conditioner I use as a leave in, my hair ends up stiff, dry...e.g. this past Monday, washed and DC'd with AO GPB and used Darcy's leave in....:nono:

My hair wasn't feeling it...my curls were defined and looked awesome, but my hair was dry, stiff...

Is there no such thing as defined curls with softness? Ugh!

Bumping for more suggestions so I can make a list...

I'm going to try this one and see if it works for me...your hair appears to be thick like mine...

I like spray leave ins: enso naturals flaxseed mist, oyin juices & berries, darcys herbal spray, etc

Arian Honey, i believe the GPB is a protein conditioner (just conditioned with this yesterday, love it). Try DCing w/ a moisturizing one, this could help with the dry hair

Even with a moisturizing one, a leave in makes my hair hard and crunchy...
