I just wanted to share this with the board. My kids are both really tenderheaded and washing their hair can be a terror but using Cowboy Magic and the Tangleteaser has saved my life, my sanity and my freedom.

My neighbors aren't calling CPS or 911 anymore because of the bloodcurdling screams that used to come from the bathrooms on wash day.

My back isn't aching from hours and hours of detangling their very tender heads.

The older has 3B below tailbone length hair and the younger has 3B/3C "lion mane" hair that is below WL and really really thick.

Just wanted to share!!

I will share this with my sister. Her youngest girl had woman hair as described by sister - almost waist length and insanely thick - also tender headed.

My 7 year old daughter has pretty thick hair thats nearly waist length, not sure of the texture though. Anyways, I started using the tangle teazer on her head and she actually said "Thank you mommy, I love my new brush"! And, this was WHILE I was detangling! Usually she would be crying so for her to actually not be crying but rather thanking me let me know I had finally found the right product! Now she doesn't dread wash day anymore. That brush is AMAZING!!

where-n-D-heyeeell are ya'll getting all these WL "i swing my hair back -n-forth" kids from?????

@OP is the cowboy magic better than KCKT? (not sure if you've ever tried....)

also are there cones?

The 1st 2 ingredients are cones - cyclomethicone and dimethicone. I've never tried KCKT.

Please dont laugh, but I have never heard of cowboy magic, what is it?

Cowboy magic is a detangler originally made for horses like the Mane and Tail line. It is supposed to be similar in ingredients to Sabino moisture block. I picked up the CM because I could find it locally.

Off topic: love hearing about all these gorgeous headed precious little ones!! Is there a "that's my baby" thread showcasing these beautiful girls floating around the board some where?

^^^Here are some throwback pics of my 2 kids from the back. My oldest is in the 1st one and the youngest is in the 2nd one.

As a Tender headed adult I say the Tangle Teezer is a Miracle. It's awesome, I don't have to worry about wrinkle lines in my eyes and forhead anymore. I use to scrunch my face up when combing and it wasn't seriously tangled, the slightest pull was like AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH.

I recommend this to any and all tender heads alike.

Their hair looks adoreable BE :yep:. I have yet to curl my DD's hair and let her wear it out---I don't think it would last an hour before it would poof up into a massive cloud of hair.

Their hair shole is purty!

I have no idea how I was able to last this long with my daughters 4b hair. I would just give evil stares at it and contemplate putting a relaxer in it. I knew I wasn't going to....but mayunnnn! :look:

The TT is a gawd send. I swear the more I use it the less tangly her hair is. It is a pleasure to do her hair now. I have a few drops of CM left so I will try it.

I  you TT :throws panties:

Thx for product recs. I do have the TT already and heard great things about CM before on this board. Your dd's have beautiful hair!
