I have a problem paying a lot of money for natural products. Are there any products out there that can help natural hair be moisturized? Qhemet, Oyin, and other companies sell products that cost too much. I can't afford to get them.:nono: Money is tight right now and I'm trying to get ideas on what to get.

VO5 Strawberry
Lustrasilk Shea Butter Cholesterol

The best one:

Yes to Carrots Hair Mud - it's about $10 but it's very good

I see you are in NY so you can also get Trader Joe's Nourish Spa - excellent stuff!!

Not sure if you were looking for conditioner or moisturizer but shea butter gets my vote for top moisturizer

BB Castor Oil And Aloe Hair Lotion
V05 Detangling Leave-In Spray
Aussie Hair Insurance
Cantu Shea Butter Leave-In Cream
Herbal Essences Long Term Relationship Split End Mender (creamy leave-in)

why not make your own...youtube has recipes that people make one lady has a wigotry hair cream that looks wonderfully moisturizing and there was tons of it she just stored it in the fridge.

you want natural products, right? Products like aloe vera gel/juice, coconut oil, olive oil, and whole avocados are super cheap... you can get avocados at the grocery, and sometimes the overripe ones they'll sell at a discount. Smash these up and mix with a little condish (like Suave Humectant) and DC... :yay: :gorgeous: Your hair will thank you, and there is NO product that will condition like that. Especially not for one single solitary US dollar!

I need products that I can use as a leave in moisturizer. I can't do that with avocado. Coconut oil and AVJ. Good idea! Thanks!:yep:

Sheabutter mixed with olive oil, coconut oil or pick whatever oil you choose. You can also use it on your skin.

Conditioner, oil and water. You can use any conditioner or oil and just add water in a spray bottle. It is the the most readily available leave-in you can make(I know you have to have conditioner and oil at home already). I'm assuming everyone listing their favorite conditioners are alluding to this.

How about a spritz? Distilled water, aloe vera (the liquid kind that has to be refrigerated), the oil of your choice, and a cone-free conditioner. Sealing afterwards helps as well.

What's your price range or definition of "cheap"? I have a few that I think are good, but I don't want to list them until I know what you're willing to pay for them.

Raw Shea Butter
$5 a tub
A tub can last 2 months or more because a little goes a long way
I can send you some if things are really that tight

I'm talking about products under 15.00$, 20.00$ the most. I'm having money trouble so I can't afford to be spending 20-30 $ for 8 oz. of one product. I'm sad that KCCC won't be on my list anymore. Got to go to #2 and that's ecostyler gel.:yep: It's sad having to be on a budget.:nono: Glad I got my Instyler before I got hit in the wallet. I have to be more selective now and this has cured me of my PJism.

i say shea butter. i use it by itself and mixed with oils. i love shea butter mixed with evoo and/or coconut oil.

a little shea butter mixed with oils, or just oils; definitely some of the best and inexpensive products out there. And, they have more than one use (skin care, cooking etc.).
