Natural twist and braid wearers

I don't know if I'm being paranoid or what, but when your hair is twisted or braided and you get the fuzzies, Well I pulled a piece up and it was shorter than the length of my hair. Is this GULP................ Damage?

Most likely its just newgrowth.

Maybe it is just new growth.

could be new growth...could be damage. i wouldn't worry about it unless there's a huge patch of it.
