I retrieved these before and after pics of a haircut I got on March 26. I flat ironed my entire head for the first time in about 15 years and then went to a chain salon for a cut...well, a professional cut. I've been chopping up my hair for years. This was supposed to be THE final cut. A Korean woman cut my hair and did a great job. I flat ironed recently and I'm about back where I started and considering cutting again to get rid of the color (also done in March).

I've been meaning to share these. So here they are:

It was fun for about about week. Then it was back to the puff. :yep:Folks were shocked because they couldn't imagine me with straight hair. My coloring habits betray my commitment to healthy long hair. I suppose since I KNOW I can grow it, I keep on taking it for granted. I think I'm done with color though :look: I might keep it at this length until it's all gone.

3.5 MONTHS LATER (An upsweep thingy...lol! Time to track her down and get cut again.)

Thanks ladies!

Next time I would probably let someone professionally flat iron my hair and then go in for the cut...or spring for a maxiglide.

It's healthy enough but that color job was a combo of FOUR different coloring sessions within a few weeks. I had some mish mash in mind (reddish, blondish, auburnish, brownish, etc.) and I stubbornly pressed on when I should've hit the brakes. Still failed and I have an extra light streak up front as a battle scar. It's growing out thank goodness because in March it was so light it looked like a bald spot.

I liked the cut though. I'll for a down pic but I only wore my hair hair like this for one day.
