Short Transition... about 3 months.

What is your current length (stretched)?
6 inches. Below shoulder length in the back, just above shoulder length in the front. Should be full shoulder before the end of the year.
What products give you good curl definition?
Now I use my own stuff... but I have used Giovanni Direct and Aubrey Organics B5 Gel
Also... regular DC's and the Denman brush
What products do you use for slicking into a ponytail or just around the edges?
Just a light hold gel.

my nape is about an inch past shoulder length. the rest varies from ear to neck to shoulder length (I had alot of breakage from medication I was on).
What products give you good curl definition?
Most conditioners work pretty well for me, but if I had to choose I would say Oyin's honey hemp conditioner. I cowash with that and use it as a leave-in.
What products do you use for slicking into a ponytail or just around the edges?
I don't ever put my hair in a pony tail. When my hair is out, I usually just wash my hair and put on a headband and my edges do lay down because of it.

There are many products that give me good curl definition, but the one's that give me good curl definition without being hard are natural butter and oil mixes (ex: shea butter and coconut oil mixed together) and some creamy leave in conditioners (I currently use Garnier Fructis Sleek and Shine Leave In Conditioner) with IC Gel.

I use the D3. I only use it on my edges to make my wave pattern more uniform and so I won't use a bristle brush on my wet hair.

I never BC'd but I've been natural for about a year. I have trimmed most of my relaxed ends off, but I have about 2-3 inches of relaxed ends and about 6-7 inches of natural hair!
I hope to be at BSL (when straightened) by Christmas, but I'm just enjoying the ride and learning how to care for my natural hair.
