I'm curious; does anyone here have a natural part?
If you do, is it a centre part, side part, offcentre, etc?
And what is your hair type?
Do you have to have semi-straight hair to have one?

Thanks in advance.

I have a perfectly straight "natural part" from years of relaxing. It's dead center goes from my forehead to the crown of my skull. I don't have to ever part down the middle, my hair parts on it's own.

Wow, if you have still have straight hair from years of relaxing, that sounds bad. But how do you know it wasn't always straight EVEN when you were relaxed? And to just relax your hair over and over just or that reason, sounds very damaging. Then, you won't be considered natural either(if you are relaxed).

Well I know you can train your hair to part a certain way if you keep parting your hair on that side every time so you wouldn't have to resort to chemicals for that to work. I use to have a dead center part because of that but I've been trying to have it not do that because it gets annoying at times.

I have two one in the middle & off center towards the right. It's weird b/c it would naturally go to either one on any given day.

i think i've trained my hair into a center part...now it's stubborn and doesn't want to go any other way. oh well, it's cute.

Let me clarify. My part isn't because of the relaxer, it's because I would part my hair in the exact same place for each process so it's "trained" I guess. It's never going away. I had to fight it and camouflage it when I had a really short fro. Hope that helps.

i believe i do..my avi is the perfect example of how my hair just naturally part in the front..i dont like it

I have a natural part in the center and I've had it for as long as I can remember. I HATE IT! I like to wear my hair with no parts, especially during a braidout but it just keeps parting itself. It even hurts when I wrap my hair, like my hair doesnt want to go to the side it just wants to be seperated GRRR!

I guess i'm just unusual then.
My hair doesn't part at all.
The last time i went into the salon, the stylist was trying to find my 'natural part' and I was thinking 'Black girls have parts? Who knew?'
