Hat do you moisturize your hair with? I'm looking to try out a few products. I started off with As I Am Double Butter Cream. A lot of people swear by this product , but it left my hair dry. Or maybe it was the combination of it with coconut oil. I dunno. Just wondering what do you use?

I leave in rinse out conditioner on my wet hair.

Coconut oil shows down loss of moisture. I use also use that. Free effect is similar to moisturization

I don't like "as I am dd cream".

On the ground I used to buy Curls kids red velvet something. Then seal with jbco or gso.

My favorite online vendor but soon to be in stores is Oyin Hair Dew. I buy it by the This is my staple and I use it all of the time. I would only buy it from Oyin Handmade directly.

Qhemet Biologics Moringa tree is oilier and I like using it during the winter or after henna. Their store is closed while the owner recovers, but if you live in Atlanta you are in luck! Sage Naturalceuticals is open this Saturday and they have it in stock.

Bask tapioca is a cream that I also use all of the time. It is a cream, but it makes my curls pop and smoothes very well. It sinks in and makes magic happen in my strands.

Darcy's Botanicals. I keep her products in use. There are smoothing balms and creams and milks. I love them all, but it depends on what I am doing with my hair.

The Ladies are loving Annabelle's. Loving it. You should look into Annabelle's. Excellent reviews. I wish I could use it but, I am allergic to the preservative used.

I can't see any mentions on my IPhone. PM me if it is a must see. Allons y

Not natural yet, just transitioning, but I love Qhemet Amla and Olive Heavy Cream on my new growth.
Just spritz a bit of water, and rub that stuff in and my hair is moist for a couple of days afterwards.

I've tried a lot of things but the best for me and my hair is to moisturize twice daily with curl junkie curl rehab.

If you like lotions...

1.Oyin Hair Dew

2.Purabody Murumuru

3.Hairveda Whipped Cream Ends Hydration (now called Heavy Whip something or other)...you only need a little because a ton can be sticky.

If you like Creams:

1. Annabelle's Hair Creams (many scents...lasting moisture, smooth texture).

2. Bee Mine Luscious Balanced Cream Moisturizer. (excellent...smooth texture, lasting moisture)

3. Qhemet Biologics Burdock Root Butter Cream & Amla & Olive Heavy Cream. The latter is a lot heavier and can be oily...first three ingredients are oil. Excellent moisture.

4. On the ground: Shea Moisture Curl Enhancing Smoothie (excellent moisture that lasts....can be a little oily if you use a lot).

On damp/ spritzed hair:

Qhemet Biologics Alma & Olive Heavy Cream
SheScentIt Seyani Hair Butter
Oyin Handmade Whipped Pudding

Spritz:

Oyin Juices & Berries

On lightly spritzed hair I apply a nice heavy cream like qhemets' amla and olive heavy cream or the cocoa tree detangling ghee

Another vote for Pura Body Naturals MuruMuru Moisture Milk. I also like Shescentit's Tahitian Vanilla Leave-In and Annabelle's Creams...and when you combine all three...

Oyin Hair Dew
Purabody Murumuru Moisture Milk
Purabody sapote hair lotion
My Honey Child Coconut Hair Milk
Qhemet Biologics burdock root butter cream
Camille Rose Almond Jai Twisting Butter (still has high water content, even though it's called a butter)

Can you tell I'm a pj?

I like affordable products that I can buy on the ground with good ingredients: SM Deep Treatment Masque (as a leave in), SM Curl Enhancing Smoothie, Eden Bodyworks Curl Defining Creme, and Curls creme brulee

Sheamoisture Coconut & Hibiscus souffle, under ANY leave in conditioner or moisturizer will take it up to oober levels of moisture. I liken it to what curl activator gel does. I only need a dab.

Qhemet Biologics Cocoa detangling Ghee and Burdock Root Butter Cream

Myhoneychild Afrikoko Silky Hair lotion

Soultanicals Marula Muru , and new favorite Kinky Silk Tress Milk

Natural By Design Cosmetics Nectar leave in Conditioner

Oyin Hair Dew

I've tried quite a few products--but always default back to Kinky Curly Knot Today Leave-in followed up with coconut oil. I've tried the As I Am double buttercream...and it was just okay...

Used to really love KCKT & hair dew. Now, I really like Giovanni direct leave in :) and Elasta QP olive mango butter. I like Qhemet AOHC on damp hair too but I wish I would have gotten the burdock root instead. I also love leaving in a thick moisturizing "rinse-out" conditioner. Also really enjoying herbal infused h2o.

Wave Nouveau Finishing Mist and/or Lotion
I seal with Nature's Blessings pomade now.
I also use Lavish Curls Moisturizer
Fantasia IC Leave- In Moisturizer

Lots of great info on this thread! I see that Oyins is mentioned multiple time along with Purabody murmuru milk. Would either of these be good for relaxed hair?

Komaza care califia leave in
Komaza care aloe my hair leave in
With shea butter mix on top.
Sounds heavy but I live in Wisconsin and we been breaking records with our wind chill factors.

Bee Mine is the best. I'm not natural anymore but I do have dry hair. I also like Jane carter curl cream and CJ honey but ta:)

I sprat my hair with aloe vera juice mixed with glycerin and I seal with evoo. This works better than any store bought product ive used
