Natural ladies i need help!!

how do u get that slick down look when u bun? like how do u make ur new growth/natural hair look wavy when u put it up?

i tried everything and nothing works, i tried the scarf thing and thats the closest i can get it my new growth doesnt get the wavy look but instead it looks like flat coils/curls and twists, my hair line is literally sitting an inch above my head

so plz help me how do i get the slick down look around my whole head

I use ecostyler gel , but everyone's hair just doesn't lay down.

I use Ecostyler gel on slightly damp hair then tie it down w/ a scarf. Sometimes I use a little vaseline on my edges.

I use Fantasia IC Gel, and use a silk scarf, that normallly works for me.

is eco styler gel really good?

i thought all gels were the same, i use some cheap gel it works for 30 min then the curls come right back even if i have tied it down with a scarf over night

I use Let's Jam Mega Hold and a scarf. but then again my hair lays down.

Wet your edges really well, put some eco styler on it and brush it back then put on the scarf right afterward. Give it about 30 min to an hour and you should be good to go!

I use Eco styler with olive oil on damp moisturized hair immediately followed by a silk scarf to tie down my hair overnight. The Eco styler holds my hair in place even in the rain like today.
