I don't know if I can claim natural after today cause I'm getting rid of these greys one way or another.
Do what you have to do to annihilate the grays.
I don't want highlights though. I prefer my hair jet black. I always have. There has to be a healthier way(meaning no Ammonia) to get my hair jet black.High lights are the best for hiding greys
My hair is natural and I dye it black every 12-16 weeks. I've been using Shea Moisture hair dye, it doesn't have ammonia PinkSunshine77
I watched a vid of a lady saying why she doesn't use Henna anymore. I don't have time for an 8 hr process for some color that won't even be fully black. Thanks for your input. I am glad it's working for some ladies though.Henna all the way, I actually like the orange rusty brown, it looks like highlights to me and I always get compliments about. But the process is an all day process. Recently I started putting my henna over night and it's been ok on the time. I try to put it on around 11pm and as soon as I wake up around like 8:30 I good to go.
Once a month has been good, the more u henna the grays stay put.
Clairol Natural Instincts semi-permanent. My mom used to use it to cover her grays and it worked fabulously. Plus it left her hair shiny. I used to use it too, great product. It has no ammonia.
I want my hair a nice dark brown because it is a dusty sandy color naturally. I tried henna but it dried my hair out even after using numerous moisturizing conditioning treatments.
Plus I hate the process.
[USER said:PinkSunshine77;20061581[/USER]]thanks, I honestly hate Shea Moisture products because they have too much Protein for my hair, but I can give it a shot especially since it's not something I'll be doing as often as I was doing relaxers.
