Natural Kinky Spiral Curls style on Relaxed hair?

I'm sure everyone has seen CaramelHonee's post about the summer weave she would like to have and I think the style is awesome. But I'm wondering if there's a way to achieve this natural kinky spiral curl hair style with RELAXED hair? See pic below:

Has anyone done this style on relaxed hair? If so, what did u do and could a salon stylist do this???

Yes I have and I loved it

...did u do it yourself or at a salon? Im afraid I couldn't do it myself and I called salons to see what their price was for doing one and the price is out of my budget ($50 and up).

thanks... im relaxed so it can b done and heck no, i didn't do it myself, i went to the salon. that ishh takes too long and trust me love, they deserve at least $50 for it b/c it is TIME CONSUMING!

Flexirods or strawsets can achieve this style on relaxed hair.

I wear a braidout..using smaller braids for more curl definition and use perm rods on the ends. You don't get as defined ringlet type curls but it's cute and I've gotten nothing but compliments on it.
