Natural heads: What flatiron do you use?

The Maxiglide.

Why? The little teeth, but make sure you use small sections of hair. I use the steam feature and there is a difference between dry heat and the moisture that is left in my strands.

The teeth are convenient and I don't use a small tooth comb.

The Maxiglide in my opinion provides a quick, detangling, smooth job.

Sounds like the next time I straighten I should really use the steam feature. I didn't use it last time out of pure laziness. Does it really have to be distilled water or will regular water do, or how about filtered water? I have a filter attached to my faucet.

It would also be helpful if we can see pics of the results using the flat iron on natural hair. I'd like to purchase one and would like a temperature control feature or at least a display with the current temperature. I don't want to go past 300-350 degrees.

Ohh thats a good idea. Dang I didnt take very many pics but I straightened my hair with my GVP.

I should add that the ones I did take arent full length, arent great quality (cell pic), but I'll post some anyway. I used it on 400 degrees (no Juvenile :look:). BRB.
