Being able to see the true length of your hair is very dependent on several factors. Sometimes I am so happy with the length and other times I am like...what happened to my hair???? Sometimes it looks so thick and sometimes, I freak and say, "o no, my hair just got thin...1". One factor is that the strands are very fine. 2. the texture 3. the shrinkage and four, the products I use. Sometims it looks relaxed, sometimes it looks pressed, sometimes it is just wild and other times I say "why do I even bother?" It just seems that my hair is temperamental and chameleon and unfaithful....and not responding to all the love and attention it is getting....

Another thing...if my hair is at my brastrap when stretched out by taking hold of a section and holding it down...what would the length be if it were relaxed or pressed? I do not intend to try it to find out...but is there a natural stretched length that is different than a relaxed length that is stretched out???? Natural hair is very challenging and if you experience this too, and have the same questions or ANSWERS....care to share? Obviously my hair is on my nerves right now.....

Bonjour.

Methinks that your hair would be about the same length relaxed as it is when stretched or pressed. But that's just MHO. And I think your hair's multiple personalities is it way of trying to keep you from getting bored.

I feel you...A guy asked me at work the other day, "Why do you change up your hairstyles so much?" I simply say, "It keeps me from getting bored and cutting it." He then says, "Oh, don't do that!!!! Please!" I say, "Exactly."
