ladies with natural hair, please read the thread linked above. This woman really needs help, and I've given the best advice I can, but I really think she can benefit from the help of someone else who has natural hair - especially with the detangling issues.

Please help her because I don't want to give her bad advice.
 
It's really nice of you to be so concerned about someone else's hair journey. I will pop into the thread and see if I have any advice or anything that can help. :)
 
Thank you - I vaguely remember having natural hair, am not super sure of her products, and so many people helped me, Iif I can return the favor, it's a bonus for me.
 
You did a good job giving her advice. Some things are also just standard good hair practices whether you're relaxed or natural. I'm sure she appreciated your help. I also tried to help with what I knew.
 
Thanks a lot. I didn't know that bit about castor oil - I like learning new things.
 
Yeah, I learned from someone else on this board that castor oil acts like a humectant. And those generally do better on the hair in warmer, more humid months. Which is why some people switch certain hair products when the seasons change.
