I've been natural for 4 years and i'm back at APL after a few setbacks. I've finally got my hair back in good shape, however over the course of a year i've had to do some cutting. Now i'm impatient so i'm looking to fake it until I make it.:giggle:

Any ladies have some recomendations? Pros? cons? vendors?

I'd love to read some of you're experiences.

I've been stalking the kinkycurlyyaki website they look promising. So many textures and companies out there! I'm getting overwhelmed looking.

I agree with the above post. Although they are "natural" haired clip in. They are from an Asian women's head most of the time. No matter how much they try and kink the hair it still won't 100% match a black women with type 4b or c hair. Maybe 4a but even that would be hard. and then the issue with clip ins and not being able to do twist outs with them. I recently made some clip ins with straightened curly weave but even with my hair straight it didn't match. Bare in mind that the hair had quite a yaki texture to it due to it previously being curly.

The thing I find most annoying with YouTube is that nearly 90% of them are given their weave even if stated otherwise. Who wouldn't love free extensions even if they were on the shabbier side. We'd still appreciate it more than if we had to pay for it.

My advice would be to see if you can test it out with a smaller amount then buy it.

so I feel like this post was a little uneducated. Firstly now I know you do braid/twist outs with clips. You can also wear them on top of cornrows instead of alongside your own hair. You can get a lot more flexibility with styles unlike weaves

Also it's best to make your own clip ins because you get less hair when you buy them pre-made.

Just thought I'd just add to this incase someone comes a long and thinks clip ins are bad when really this can happen with any sort of extension hair.
I plan on getting some myself soon :)
