I hate this day, the feeling, wash day, the days leading up to it, I have to much inspiration for styles to do. The day if I procrastinate as I am unsure, clocking the weather channel, like straight, two strand twists, what to do? How going to maintain..

My question do you map out the week?
Do you redo hair nightly?

Rely trying to get out of the have hair nice one day, following days, a ponytail. Realizing that women get most attention with hair down, trying to get my It girl up, yea dig

Any comments or suggestions are welcome. TIA

I do my hair once a week when its natural. I try a style that will last until the next wash and most of the time I achieve that with twist but usually when I don't. I don't have the time to squeeze in another wash day so that is just more motivation to make sure the style last on the next wash day. My hair usually looks best the day before wash day and the 2 days following(right before taking out twists look like a new style the first few days after the style is nice and neat). The three days in between on a good week aren't horrible but can be a little plain and boring on a good week or they can be frizzy on a bad week.

If I wear a wash and go I maintain by:
1. wearing it in a pineapple at night covered with a satin bonnet
2. don't cover my head in the shower so the steam can refresh my curls, at the end of the shower I take the pineapple down and shake my hair out, stand there for about three minutes without letting water hit it, then wet my hands and fluff my hair a little. I do the last step about three times
3. rub a little oil on it after I get out of the shower and I'm done

If I wear a twist out I rotate pinappling with retwisting. When I retwist I add a product other than what I did the original twists with (don't know why but I just do lol)

A wash and go will normally last a week for me, 10 days if I use gel. A twist out can last a week but I never wear them longer than 4 days. After 4 days I wear a puff if I'm being lazy or have nowhere to go or I look on YouTube for a cute, quick style idea.

Right now I wear twist Monday to Thursday. Twistout Friday - Sunday then wash and retwist sunday after church. I'm in TWA land so my twists don't take too long.

I can wash, detangle, deep condition, twist, and dry for a twist out in about 3.5 hours so I wash twice a week. At night I simply spritz my hair, seal the ends with shea butter, and put my hair in two huge twists in a bonnet.

I can get my hair to last in a twist out for 3-4 days and then it's time to wash again. I only wear my hair in a bun or a ponytail if I want to.

For six years I wore my hair only in a bun. I had great retention but I get way more positive attention with my hair down, and I like it more.
