Hi ladies,
I understand due to hair surface area, the coarser your hair, the harder to get that blinging shine...However...I know if anyone would know you all would. :yep:

I'm tried coconut oil - it was too light and got absorbed immediately.
Tried castor oil to seal - didn't work...

What am I missing?

What about coconut oil or jasmine oil. Some jasmine oils have mineral oil in them, I dont mind that personally but it might bother some people.

ETA: Sorry I did not see that you mentioned the coconut oil already. By the way, I dont buy the 4B cant shine things. My sister is 4B very coarse natural, and her hair is jet black and very shiny naturally. If you have 4B fine hair that is another story though...

I suggest qhemet's line. I tried it the first time this weekend and actually rollerset my and adult DD's hair. It gave us really soft "blingin" sets. If coconut is too light her olive oil based moisturizers are the thing for you!
