I'm not sure how I feel about scarves on MY head. I feel a little like Aunt Jemima. I like it on others though.

Yeah, I really love the look on others. I am not sure if I can carry it off.

The look has a sort of "boho" vibe (IMO) and I don't think I can pull off the look convincingly.
I am really kind of plain/minimalist in my style. However, I am desperately trying to step outside of my comfort zone (within reason).

this thread inspired me! i've been wanting to experiment with scarves and turbans for like a year, but never could find any good ones...then i saw some ankara fabric lying around in my room and decided to tie it into a scarf its kinda thick b/c it was cut to wrap your whole head in, but i made it work...my friend called me a homemaker lol but i think its kinda cute and changes up the look of updos...next time i get an outfit made, im going to use the extra fabric and do something like this...i want to experiment with different ways of tying it too.
