Ok ladies i have been lurking since January (hence the name) after after my son my hair has grown a nice lengtha little pass shoulder length. Now almost 2 years later. it is in bad condition...the nape of my hair and edges are breaking off mainly in the middle back of my hair!! for some reason thats the roughest part of my hair and gets the nappiest come relaxer time!! now i was not doing much of anything to get the growth so i guess i got lazy with it..I am trying to keep a regimen and stick to it as well as finding the right products to treat my hair properly. I have purchased the apHOGEE treatment for damaged hair because i have seen it mentioned, although i have not used it as of yet. So im looking for some help to get back my healthy hair..if it was ever healthy. not sure what info you need do just let me know, i have tried to add some photos

what my hair used to look like

the back

my roots..very dry

I'm so sorry for your experience. I'm not relaxed, so I don't have much advice, but I know when I was relaxed and used a curling iron every day, my hair never thrived or grew. Are you using heat everyday? I'm sure some of our beautiful members will respond to your request shortly.

common advice:

MOISTURIZE OFTEN

Be gentle with your hair

Don't over-heat

Good luck on your hair-health-journey!

i actually dont because to be honest with you i dont do my hair often at all unless im relaxing it but i guess that may be a problem also! i relax it and when washing i let it air dry in a bun and the next day i may straighten it with my ceramic straightener.
