Hi :wave:my newfound LHCF buddies. I have been lurking for over a month now after I was brought to this forum by googling for dominican hair products. I feel like you all are the group of friends that I never had. I cant believe that the only hair products I used to own were a bottle of VO5, pantene pro-v, hair grease and motions oil sheen, but thanks to everyone here, I have really UPGRADED my collection.

Now to business...I'm going to try the C&G method, should I use the Aphogee before or after my braids? I figured before, because my hair would be stronger with less breakage when I take them out but I could be wrong.

Also, what are the benefits of evoo, coconut and jojoba oil?

Welcome.

I wish I could answer your question. But I am sure that you will get a few suggestions here shortly. Wishing you a healthy hair journey!

Hi! Sorry I can't answer your questions, just wanted to say WELCOME!!!!

 Welcome to LHCF! As far as Aphogee and your braids. I would definitely do a treatment before. As far as the benefits of evoo, jojoba, and coconut oil just use the search feature and you should find some interesting threads about them;)

Welcome from a fellow :newbie: I've got my hair braided as well, I did an aphogee treatment before, about the oils you can do a search and I'm sure other more experienced ladies will chip in, but i love Vatika oil(mix of coconut oil and herbs) for my scalp in braids. HTH
