Someone asked about this product, and natural hair...so I dived in the crowded pool. After searching three Saveon's (that had already been raided for mask and shampoo
ohwell.gif
), I copped the Daily conditioner, Mask, Serum, and silk leave-in. I still can't find the damn shampoo or oils therapy after two MORE trips to other Saveon's

What's the deal?

Anyway, I shampooed with CON (had to make due), used Mask with heat cap for 30 min ( I know, 5 min, but that's how I deep condition
ohwell.gif
)Rinsed. Then, I used the Daily Conditioner for a few minutes in the shower (why not?). Rinsed. Then I applied Leave-in on damp hair. End result? Pretty soft!

Since I am wearing a huge (have to duck when I get in a car, and the top gets flattened by the car ceiling

) puff these days, I decided to no poo again today with the Daily conditioner. Even softer.

The detangling slip could be better, but it was certainly enough to get the job done. The consistency of the Daily conditioner is great. I'm not in love with the scent of the products, but not a big deal.

I'm also not a huge fan of hair typing, but for clarity's sake, I am a 4ZZZ. No patches of anything else, no waves, pure napp. The products I've tried so far have worked great, and I rarely try new stuff.

As soon as I can find the shampoo, and oil product, I'll try those too. The mask is only going to last me 2 uses per jar (mucho hair), so I'll be getting more of those too, but out of the five or six stores I've been to so far, I only found ONE

I'll have to be more aggressive

. Hope that sale lasts, but with these sell outs, I doubt it.

So, to all the nappy ladies...Get it while you can!

I'm on a coloring kick right now but as soon as I come back around to conditioners, I'll give this a try.

Excellent review. Now I'm going to have to try it, especially if you recommend it. Thanks Hon!

No prob! Finally found the shampoo and the oil today at Rite Aid, but alas, only a dollar off each product. Kinda expensive now. I bought three oils (which I find hard to believe will work without heat, but we'll see), one shampoo, and another hair mask. They had thw whole line (first store I've seen with the whole line), and I was tempted to by like, 10 masks, but then I calmed down.

I'm really curious about this oil, since NO hot oil (even olive) does anything to my hair.

ya'll really have me wanting to try this product! i haven't seen it at any BSS and riteaid/eckerds didn't even have it! do they sell it at walmart? that should have been the first place i looked, but i haven't been lately.

I havent seen it either...but i havent really "looked" for it anyway. I may try this in the future

Thanks swayback for the review!!! If only NTM wasn't all gone but the shampoo from the shelves...any of yall ladies been in Duane Reade lately hmm???

I tried the Hair Recovery Mask last night.

I love this stuff!! It transformed my hair. And with all the cones it's still soft this morning. It's not dry like when I use Pantene. I'm in love, yes. LOL

I tried a new expieriment yesterday in the shower (must stop, must stop
whip.gif
) I did a condotioner wash with the Daily conditioner, and I used my Denman knock off to brush conditioner through each section, which took a good 15 minutes. Not something I would normally do in the shower, since I detangle once a week at most, but hey
scratchchin.gif
, why not try something new.

After that, I rinsed with cool water, dried off, and then saturated my damp hair with the leave-in conditioner. I brushed that through section by section (everything on my hair HAS to be done in sections
wink.gif
). Then I put it up in a puff.

I can never used too much conditioner on my type of hair, and never have to worry about something being too heavy for it. So, I'm sure I used more leave in than most would, but just rubbing it on isn't going to get it on 75% of my hair, too dense for that. So, I will only do this when I have the time.

Result: Extra curly puff. I means watch spring curls popping out all over. Definitely NOT what I was looking for, but not a bad thing. I don't long for curl definition (a real pitfall for some nappies), but if I did, this would be it. NOTE: This effect is only going to happen if product is brushed through, and left undistubed while it drys. Puff was extremely soft all day too. I'm sure people thought "why is the girl touching her puff every five minutes...hey, that's a NICE puff she has there...hmmm"

I have one more update to give, on the oil product when I get around to that.

Long live the puff!!

Thanks for the review.

This is definitely on my list of to tries (I had to literally RESTRAIN myself from picking up the serum and mask the other day in Target).

I'm really trying to make through this product challege an honest woman

I bought the mask today, but I haven't tried it yet. I'll post a review after my next wash...which should be tomorrow.
