Hi everyone. I'm interested in myhoneychild products and I was wondering if you all tried any.

If so, which product was it? Did you like it? What did it smell like? What was the product consistency (watery, creamy, buttery, etc)?

Thanks in advance. :)

I tried the Myhoneychild Type 4 Cream and...
It smelled very minty and had a REALLY tingly feel. This I liked.:yep:
The texture of the product is very thick..When I say thick, I mean that you could turn the jar upside down and the cream does not move.
The texture is that of a grainy whipped butter-like cream.
I tried it on dry hair, wet hair, damp hair. Each time the cream left a very noticable residue that did not agree with my fine strands.

I would give this product a C- because although it was moisturizing and had a nice minty scent, it was a little too heavy and residue is a no-no:nono:

I have tried the type 4 hair cream as well...its just ok....i will try it again with different products, it does last a long time as you only need a little...it seems to work best as a sealant rather than a primary moisturizer...i wanna try the deep conditioners but i never hear much about them

I tried a few products none are staples but I don't have anything bad to say about any of them.

Honey Hair Mask - smells wonderful, but while it gave me moisture I like a heavier DC (runny consistency, very light)
Type 4 Hair Creme - smells like peppermint but it was moisturizing on my hair (thick)
Honey Hair Creme - love the smell!!!! BUT for me it wasn't as moisturizing as the Type 4 creme (thick). The smell has worn off I've only had it since April.
Sophia's Old Fashioned Grease - if you like grease you'll love this. Smells like real peaches, and is a real old school grease. I actually want to keep this in my rotation but that depends if I use anything else from the line. Cause just to order this for $5.50, it wouldn't be worth it cause the shipping would be more than the product.

Have the Horsetail Reconstructor DC - haven't used it yet but it smells great, not sure what it smells like. A little thicker than the Honey Mask, but it's runny too.

I'm 4b relaxed and I love the So Deep!!! It's one of my favorite conditioners!! :yep: I don't know what it smells like, its not too think but it moisturizes and detangles like a dream.

I just started using the Honey Hair Mask and its a keeper, as well. It's not thick, either, but it really moisturizes.

I used to use the scalp cleansers and loved them, too. For whatever reason, my hair seems to need straight up shampoo now but they are excellent, imo

I LOVE The honey hair mask!

i have tried everything else but my hair didn't like it, I wanted to REALLY try the Afrikoko hair lotion but she doesn't offer that in a sample so I never tried it. but she is very nice and have good customer service.

The type 3 creme is my STAPLE STYLER. I don't fool with gels and oyins shine and define was a tad to oily but the consistencies are comparable. I'm a 3c / 4a BUT the type 3 works a lot better than the type 4 with a shea butter consistency and anything else I've tried all I need is some water and type 3 for twist outs, 2 strand, braids or anything like it
