Hey you guys, I've been reading the post on using yogurt in hair. Well maybe I did this wrong, but I bought some low fat Kroger brand yogurt and this is the second time I've tried to put it in my hair....I have never made it to an hour because it starts to run.

I have two plastic caps on my head and I have a scarf tied around that tight, and its still dripping.

Am I doing this yogurt thing right?

Or is this normal?

DLewis puts a terry headband around her caps to catch drips.

To make the yogurt less running, you could try straining the whey off through a paper towel (overnight) first.

Thanks. I just let it drip because it was already in my hair.

Um, I guess you can say it worked? It loosened my curl pattern but I'm not sure if I like how it looks. My hair is short.....so Iono. Its not spectacular.

If I remember correctly a lot of ladies who used lowfat yogurt didn't have good results. You need the full fat one - this is the only one I've used. Anyway. Sometimes I have problems with dripping so I just roll up some paper towels and wrap that around the perimeter of the cap to catch it. If I have problems making it stay I just put the paper under the cap.

^^^^Yup, you need full fat yogurt. It's thicker. Greek is probably the thickest so you could try that.
