Hi Ladies,

I just added three more pics to my album. I got a trim today and I'm 8 weeks into my relaxer (touch up in 4 weeks).

I think I'll stick to getting trims every 4-5 months to keep the ends a little neater.

Oh yeah... thanks to EVERYONE on this board for your priceless recommendations and advice

Beautiful head of hair, Crysdon. I absolutely love the fullness! You sure know what you're doing. Keep it up.

I should be asking what's YOUR regimen

.

Mine is really simple. During the winter, I conditioner wash once a week and I always apply a deep conditioner followed by an ACV (4 oz vinegar w/28 oz water). I seal in the moisture with a moisturizer then rollerset.

During summer, I conditioner wash every other day and just rinse on the alternate days. I wear my hair curly all over or in a low ponytail.

My staples:

Conditioner washes: Garnier Fructis, Pantene DMR, Pantene S&S, Pantene R&N, V05 S&C, V05 Kiwi & Lime clarifying conditioner, V05 Free Me Freesia, Suave tropical coconut, and Suave Humectant.

Deep conditioner: LeKair Cholesterol & Lustrasilk Tea Tree Cholesterol

Shampoo: Abba, CON, Johnson's Baby Shampoo, Aphogee and Suave clarifying.

Leave ins: Elasta QP H-Two & Motions leave in

Moisturizers: GOL Coconut oil, Mango Butter, Profectiv Healthy Ends and most recently Phyto 9 (love this the best!!!)

I wash with shampoo about once or twice a month and I never wear buns or airdry, as both have caused breakage for me.

Thanks for all the compliments!!!

Great progress! Thanks for sharing. How often were you trimming before?

[/ QUOTE ]

Anikalia, I usually trim once a year. Even though I got a trim once a year, he never cut more than 1 inch. It's more for even ends moreso than splitends. I never had a problem with split ends.
