My tree braids are too poofy!

Hey ladies..
I went and got tree braids yesterday. It is a wavy style with synthetic hair. While the hair was wet it looked great! But when it dried....UGHHHH!! My hair is hugh! The stylist told me to get some mousse. I used some Pantene mousse and I still look like the lion Queen..'''
Please help! Its kankaleon hair. What products have you ladies used to get rid of the poof!

Girl, I can most definitely relate to your situationerplexed About 6 mths ago I got the wavy hair when I got my hair braided and I too looked like the lion queen. They put mousse in it and it just kept drinking the moisture. I went back the next day...they braided my braids in sections and boiled hot water, then dipped them. It turned out really cute and looked a WHOLE LOT better! You can actually do this technique yourself.

1. Braid braids in sections and make sure you braid them tightly down to the ends.

2. Boil hot water in a pot and pour water into a thermo like cup. They used a rice cooker.

3. Dip braided braid into hot water, then pat with towel.

4. Before taking braids down, apply some type of oil and mousse while wet.

5. Then take down braid or you can sleep with them braided and take down in morning.

It turns out to be really cute Let me know results/​
