So, I have this issue. My hair is pretty long and short from my different layers, which makes it hard to do a lot of different styles that everyone else on the board are doing. The top, the crown and the front are long but that nape is style kinda short and so are the sides. Plus, How do I disguise the new growth as I am transitioning?

How did I fix the problem? Braids.

I knew braiding my own hair would be a perfect way to blend my new growth, still protect my hair, moisturize is a rush and have time to handle my everyday life?

Here are the photos I promised you all from a few weeks back. This is pretty much my signature style for now, but I experiment every once and a while with bantu knots and rollersets.
