thanks!! my hair is alreay oily to the T! my hair is weighed down already. i just went overboard with that coconut oil:grin:. digging in my coconut oil i felt like the Tin man

"more oil, more oil, oh right there needs more oil too"

Adora I love coconut oil as well, I've just never used it to straighten my hair.

thanks you!!!!!:grin::blush:

i protective style off and on. at home its usually loose in a big poof. at night i clip it up. and sometimes i braid it. i dont think i have my reggie posted anywhere, but mainly my length comes from MOISTURIZING. thats all. it dont really matter what i do to my hair just as long as its moisturized it stays on my head. lately i notice ive been care free with my hair, so care free that i let a two year old play in it last week

I have googled and searched high and low but you don't have a reggie posted ...((tear))
I love that you have all that hair and can be so carefree. I am reading your old posts for tips now.:yep:

Your tex-lax results is beautiful and I'm little heavy handed with oil when I flatiron my hair also.

OH , by the way i forgot to tell you ladies that i only did ONE PASS with the flatiron .

eta: before i would have to do 2-3 and it still never got at straight!

Your flat iron results look really good. Very pretty hair. You probably can keep it straight for a while by cross wrapping. ALRAINES has a great youtube tutorial.

I agree with ButtaSmooth - crosswrapping should make it easy to go 2 weeks. I def. wouldn't add anymore product to the hair between now and then, just lightly detangle at night, part your hair down the middle in the back and wrap the left side around the right and back over the front and then do the same with the right side, pick it up and wrap around the left and over the front of your hair. You can pin curl the end or lay it down straight and pin it.

It will definitely stay silky smooth for a while with this technique. DO IT! enjoy that hair :yup:

Your texlax results are really nice! Leave the scissors alone...even though we all want long hair, somehow the scissors are still appealing. I don't get it either. Just put them out of sight so you won't be tempted.

:giggle:.....

ok ill try not too. it gets long FAST! i could only imagin if i didnt cut it last time how long it would have been!!!

thanks arosie, i think im going to just dust:look:. have to get some new scissors. i buy new scissors every time i dust.

Rub it in why don't you, to those of us who are slow growers??? Your hair looks great!! Love that shine!

BTW, what flat iron did you use??

Adora, Adora, Adora --- mami, what can I say other than absolutely amazing! One day I'll have hair as sweet as honey like yours. *sigh*

Adora your hair is beautiful.:lick:

So you've retained 1.5 inches since your sister cut it?

You were a natural up until April right?
Your a 4a/4b, correct?
How often do you do a protein treatment? Do you use 2 min or 2 step?

*Going to moisturize hair*

Your hair is beautiful I have to read up on the coconut oil and comb chase method. Thanks for sharing.

PLEASE DO NOT CUT IT I WANT TO SEE HOW LONG IT TAKE YOU TO GET BACK TO WL.
