My Terrible Experience With Qhemet Biologics And Their Customer Service.

*I am posting this a review of services*

So almost two weeks ago I ordered a package from QB. Fast forward to the day of the delivery and no package. Frantic I e-mailed ( they dont provide any other method of contact) and told them that my package is saying delivered and nothing is there. It takes about two days to get a reply and the reply is not very helpful. Over the course of the week I am shooting the seller e-mails asking for help ( verify the address put on the package, check with post office to see if it was detained for any reason, to speak with all parties involved and make sure that the right shipping label was put on the package etc). The responses take anywhere from 24-36 hrs and the responder replies consistently sounding like they would rather be scraping glass with bare hands then help me locate my package. Finally through my own efforts I am able to find that my postman for some idiotic reason placed my package willy nilly in front of my doorstep without knocking or trying to be discreet etc.. The tracking says at or in mailbox number one and number two why would he leave my package on a doorstep in an apartment complex? I have to on my own go back and forth between usps, usps county mail- with no help from the seller- to find that my package was most likely stolen. The entire time the sellers replies were apathetic and basically a "so what do you want me to do, its not my fault" type response.

I did not want the seller to bend over backwards I just wanted a little help trying to find out what happened and to have someone respond to my e-mails within 24hrs. From the start it really seemed like the shipper did not care at all. I had to beg and keep checking back in with the seller to answer my questions and make sure the post office was checked ( it never was) .

For instance, I have made many orders to Annabelle's perfect blends. Once my package was delivered to the wrong place, a fluke by usps. Erica called usps and had them re route my shipment. She also said that in case I was not received as planned she would ship out a replacement. She always responds to questions comments in 24hrs ( most likely within 30min) and always comes across as willing to help in any way she can. I got the complete opposite feeling dealing with this company. Hopefully my experience is not common. I am now having to file a theft claim with my county sheriff.

Yeah. I checked with all of them. I drove to my post office drive to the county office and finally someone got I touch with the delivery guy who said he just dropped it "by my door" and left. So not cool. My tracking info even says at or in mailbox. The package is no where to be found so the only thing fathomable is it was stolen. So I am filing a theft claim with the police and using it to show my bank for a charge reversal. I am so upset with every party involved.

I understand you're upset but I don't believe this was ever a Qhemet issue. When something is wrong with the delivery of my product, my first line of communication is with the people who are delivering the package. I've never sought help from the seller unless there was a reason for me to believe that they didn't actually ship the product.

Oh no, I'm not saying QB was the reason my package never got here. I know that part is not their fault and even told them so. What I was upset about is how much I had to beg them to help and the general attitude before I even found out my package was stolen. I had to do all this on my own. I had to continually ask them to make sure of the address etc and they responded like they really did not want to help. Also in a charge reversal of this sort it's the bank that reimburses me not QB.

They will credit you and debit them. also for now on, have the package sent to the post office, so you can pick it up from there. This will give your package more security and you can hold the post office accountable if something happens.

Are you sure about that? I spoke with the bank today and they told me it was they who would reimburse me. I'll inquire again when I go back on Monday. I did not think that was the case QB should not have to be in debt for USPS fault.

Ok, I see. You're right about them being more responsive with verifying the info. I'm sorry that happened.

I still think it was the responsibility of USPS. Your order confirmation should have the address they mailed it to and once it was handed over to the USPS you should have been pressing USPS for an answer, not the seller

I agree it was USPS' s problem. What I was so upset about was that in the very beginning before I found out about the post mans negligence etc. I was emailing the seller asking to verify the shipping address, to check and make sure the right label was put in the package just going over the process and making sure no mistakes were made on their behalf. It was a struggle with them and overall attitude was not at all helpful. I just wanted some timeliness, courtesy and regard is all. And to not feel like I was a huge trouble for them. I was very polite and this was my first time buying from them. I just wanted them to care is all. To try and help instead of cyber shrugging their shoulders and saying it's not their fault, tough luck.

I think the USPS has 50.00 insurance and you would need to submit a claim and every company can not answer within 24 hours .

Some of the USPS are trife. Last year I saw the driver knock on the door and no one answered. He literally dropped the box in the driveway in plain view and left! Anyone could have stolen that box, and if it's their policy to leave packages at the door at least try to conceal it. He put it right in the middle of the driveway. Luckily I knew the neighbor so I took the box in my house and waited until she got home and gave it to her.

I work for a company that does shipping. I don't know about USPS, but for my company the shipper specifies whether a signature is required to deliver a package. If it's not required the parcel can be left anywhere the delivery person feels it's safe, like a front porch or something, if the customer isn't home.

If the package disappears after delivery, the shipper usually replaces it for the customer at no charge then files an "insurance" claim with the delivery company to recover the cost of the first package.

USPS shouldn't have considered the front steps of your building a reasonable place to leave a package, but from my experience it's the seller that should be replacing it for you and recouping that cost as a claim to USPS.

I think the inflammatory title of this thread is misleading, as it really wasn't QB's fault. As another poster said, your address should have been in your order receipt email or shipping status email, so not sure what they could have confirmed. The postal service was to blame, and I'm glad you're not taking the money away from that black owned business because of USPS being trifling.

It was QB fault have no one ever mailed anything before they ask you if you want insurance, tracking, signatures, and so on and so forth because simply put the usps will take no fault and stuff is always happening .........

I have had several packages lost, stolen, and damaged and it was ALWAYS up to the sender to replace them and rectify the situation.

Op you were right on point dont let people play with your money or your time i contact my bank first in all situations dealing with my money and i personally wouldn't have wasted so much time finding out what happened ....

........oh you said it was delivered and its not in my hand oh ok hold on let me jump online and submit a claim with my bank while you dear sender get you ish together

It is definitely up to the sender to file a dispute when concerning USPS.

As much as I love QB, that was wrong. If the package was insured, QB should have been proactive in filing a claim. I know I'd be mad too.

I asked them if they could file a trace the very first thing because I was very frantic about it and they said I can but they won't. I asked about filing a claim etc and they said they can't. I did not ask why but it seemed like every time I suggested something they just told me what they can't do and it's not their fault. I agree that the blame is on USPS but I just wanted some help is all

I don't think the title is misleading at all. While I pointed out and clarified that my package not getting there was obviously USPS fault. I was lementing how unhelpful QB was in the very beginning towards the end in helping me sort this all out. I was emailing begging for help driving accross town to check post offices calling county post offices while they did nothing ...and all they could tell me was tough luck. No one ever reached the post office no on offered anyway to help. I felt stranded and cast off. So no I don't think the title is at all misleading or inflammatory... Simply the truth. Black owned or not bad service is bad service and does not get a pass based off color.

@curlytwirly06

That completely sucks! I would have expected QB to confirm the shipping address and to have offered to initiate a claim especially because they ship via USPS priority mail which offers I think $50 o $100 in shipping costs. As a rule of thumb I think the shipper is responsible for the item until it is marked delivered and then responsibility is transferred to the purchaser. Which is why I hate it when USPS marks something as delivered and it was not. Such a pain but on the other hand I prefer to haggle with USPS than FedEx or UPS

I wonder if there are challenges @ QB? When I ordered from QB for the Black Friday sale my order did not process through paypal and I did not know it because I had a confirmation. A few weeks go by and then I reviewed my papal statement and realized it was still open so I finished processing through paypal and sent an email to QB. They never responded but they did ship the items like the next day. It was weird. I used to be a really faithful customer and if memory serves they had good customer service at least via email but this year I stocked up on black friday and ironically I decided to buy QB third party because really it is just the one product I am in love with.

Bottom line is QB is a great product and while I hear everyone else's comments not sure this is about fault but the bottom line. QB has a customer who is unhappy and while shipping is crazy expensive and reliability is out of the shippers control silence is not the answer. I really hope your situation is a one in a thousand type of thing but I appreciate you sharing because it reminds me to insure my packages even though it costs more because being out of $50 or $60 without a product is not cool.

Thank you for understanding. I am going to look into buying 3rd party as well because I cant see myself ordering directly from them again.

I am so sorry this happened to you. I'd definitely put some sort of claim in or something against usps.

Mail folk be triflin! :nono:

But it's stuff like this that makes me SUPER nervous about ordering stuff online...especially bc I, too, live in an apartment complex.

It's been a while since I've ordered anything online...I'm not a regular with doing that...bc I'm always afraid that this type of thing will happen.

I hope the situation gets worked out where QB replaces the stolen products for you and you get your money back...at least for shipping, if anything. :(

OP, I so feel where you are coming from! UPS gets on my nerves!! I had a neighbor who brought me a package last week that they left at her door by mistake (and of course they marked it delivered!...it just wasn't delivered to me! )

I try to work at home when I'm expecting a package and I can't tell you how many times I've just gone to bed because my doorbell never rang so I assumed the package didn't come....only to wake up the next morning and find a package sitting on my doorstep :whip::whip::whip: How hard is it to ring the bell when you leave a package? As much as we pay for shipping we should not have to worry about our package being delivered to the wrong address or being left in an open area (i.e your doorstep in an apartment building) to be stolen.

Walmart is another unresponsive place. I ordered a book once that I never received. I had to email them only it took weeks for them to get back to me (they called me but didn't leave a number where I could return their call!). When I tried to call back (using caller ID) I got a recording. I emailed Walmart about 3 more times with no response! Meanwhile I put a trace on the package through the post office. About six months later they sent me a torn cover to my book!!! :swearing::swearing::swearing::swearing: Really???? Where is the rest of my book!! It was only ~$15 (with tax and shipping) so I just let it go but I've never ordered anything on line from Walmart again and I never will!

OP you've touched on a sensitive area for me so let me just stop typing!!! Hope you get your delivery or a refund.

I'm sorry that happened to you. When ordering from small businesses like this I always have the stuff left at the post office or signature required if I can so it doesn't get left anywhere out in the open and stolen. Saves a lot of headache. Because most times this is the reaction and they don't feel responsible.

I think QB should have done more to help. Any time I order anything online from a big business and the post office messes up they always reship. What they do on their end to recoup their losses is none of my concern. Sorry not sorry. I paid you for something that I didn't get and chased the postal service around town and still no package. Now what? Too bad for me and that's the end of that? That's not fair and bad customer service most definitely.

Come on Walmart you can afford to replace a book.

The late drop off package thing happens to me all the time I am like would it kill you to just ring the bell??
