I ordered some sublime sulfur on amazon and mixed a bit of it with my bottle of jojoba oil. Well, it won't dissolve. I shake it up all the time and just floats to the bottom of the bottle. Is it something wrong with my sulfur?

Try it in another kind of oil and see what happens. I have read that Jojoba oil is not really oil but a type of wax.

I mixed my sulfur with castor oil, tea tree oil, and olive oil and it doesn't dissolve either. I just shake it up before each use. A lot of people on the sulfur challenge post also said theirs didn't fully dissolve either.

I thought it didn't disolve. I have a sulfar and oil mix (EVCO and EVOO mixed with the sulfar) and mine dons't disolve.

the sulfur will not dissolve, doesn't matter what type of oil mixture you use

If it's not just me then I guess I'll go back to applying it. I was under the impression that it was supposed to dissolve in oil.

Nope does not dissolve, shake well before applying,.

Although it never really dissolves I do find it better to mix it up a few days ahead because it seems to be a little more mixed. Either way you have to shake it like crazy before each use though. But it's definitely less grainy after it sits a while.

nope, it never does when i make my mix i let it sit 2-3 days before using. i shake well before very use.

It wont dissolve

I normally put a small amount (whatever Im gonna use in my mixture) in a sandwich bag, wrap that in paper towels then a bath towel,

and have a go at whacking it with a rolling pin, it produces smaller particles which suspend better in the oil and have less probablity of showing on hair or scalp once applied
