After banning everyone from my side of the house and telling them that I needed "me" time, I dc'd my hair and prepared to go under my hair steamer (Prosalon that I got from evasalon.com). It worked for like 10 minutes and then just shut off! I checked the breaker box- it wasn't tripped and other items work in that outlet.

Has anyone else had this happen with theirs? Mine is only 2 months old! I hate to go thru the hassle of sending it back, but if I can't figure out what is wrong, I guess I'll have to.

Any suggestions? Meanwhile, I'm sitting here looking liked a crazy mess......

I feel your pain. I used mine a couple of times and then it shut off after about 5 minutes I'm sick because I paid $190 for it :( Ahhh, the price of beauty.

I'll pull it out again to see if something has changed. Did you check you outlet? Sometimes I think that the voltage is not compatible with US voltage (110) as mine comes from China.

I checked the outlet- that's not it. I waited for awhile and then plugged it back in; after that I could get the switches to at least light up. It's as if the machine was overheating, but I hadn't even had it on that long...
