My steam treatment & curly fro

I really like your curly fro...I do bantu knots every day and I love the results.

If you want it curlier so that your natural hair can blend with the straight pieces I suggest doing two strand twists instead of braids, and then knotting them. When I did it with braids, it stretched my hair out too much so it looked wavy instead of curly. With twists, the actual spiral curl will take a lot better. I also find that I can go around the hair a few more times while knotting with twists than with braids, so there are more curls per knot, if that makes sense at all.

I ended up doing it over, with a second (improved) steam treatment. The straight pieces bothered me too much.

Next time I will try it with twists instead of braids. Right now I am in a ponytail.
