My Protein Experience

So I figured that with my impending need to get a touchup I would try a protein treatment to prepare my hair. I used Aphoghee Treatment and Moisturizing Conditioner and initally was cussing up a storm due to the tangles. Once I was able to make some sort of ponytail and bun I debated rewashing (or conditioner washing for two days). Glancing at the board yesterday I decided to stop and buy a bottle of GPB. Baby!!!!! I shoulda used this from the get go. The slip is UNBELIEVEABLE!!!!! Its almost like I erased all 15 weeks of new growth from my head. My hair is so soft and manageable I can't stop thanking you guys enough, especially. . . oh dang it whoever started the poll thread on GPB vs Humectress (i think that was it! :perplexed)

My only question is how often can I use the GPB without damaging my hair?

Thanks again ladies and I'm gonna keep on stretching!!!!

I'm glad you like the Aubrey Organics GPB. I love that stuff! I've used it on a weekly basis without anything negative happening to my hair. GPB is a mild protein, so I know it doesn't damage my hair.
