I thought I would share this with you since I get sooooooo many great ideas from you ladies. I workout 4 days a week and I do cardio every time - which means I SWEAT! Wrapping my hair does not work, it just ends up being frizzy and dry. I started co-washing last year, but my hair was still dry. I read on some thread about women applying like a pre-poo to their hair before working out. I have been messing around with different oils/conditioner and here is what made my 11 week post-relaxer hair feel like butter :lick:...

I mixed together EVCO and Jane Carters Essential Oils (if you need measurements about 1 1/2T CO and 3/4T JC) microwaved it for 10 seconds. Then I put in one small squirt of honey and one big squirt of AO Honey Suckle Rose. I applied this to my roots first (a tip I got from Tracee's youtube video) and then I applied to rest to the hair paying close attention to my ends. Slicked my hair back, pinned it up, put on a mesh headband (it's really supposed to be used for wraps) and went to gym. Come home, rinsed hair in shower, then co-washed once.

plus when i w/o y hair gets dryyyyyyyy so im going to try it

My hair is long enough for a bun, the only method that works is to airdry with a scarf. Then I curl part of my hair in the morning and pin the rest up. I KNOW that is horrible but the braid out, bantu knot out, etc. was a a nightmare to work with every morning at 5:45am. I was pulling out so much hair that I gave up for now. Anyway that was more info than you probably wanted...
