My One Year Hair Anniversary (Pics inside) Thank LHCF!!!

It's been a year since I started my hair care journey and I have learned so much. I started with a bob and had goals of making it to APL in one year. Although I did not hit my goal... I am greatful for what I have. My hair has never been so healthy! Thank you to all you wonderful ladies for your hair wisdom and advice!

As far as my regimen... I wash my hair 1 to 2 times weekly with Nioxin Shampoo. I condition with Joico Kpak Intense Hydration conditioner. I use Motions Moisture Plus as a Deep Conditioner (although I am thinking about trying Joico Kpack Deep Conditioning Mask). I moisturize daily with Cathy Howse Dew and seal with Castor Oil (castor oil has really helped me). I also periodically use Aveda Sap Moss Pre Poo and Matrix Sleek Look (during stretches).

ETA: I relax with Phytospecific Index II and I usually stretch at least 14 weeks although I am going to cut it down to 12 weeks.

Hey Honeydew! Thanks for the compliment. When I first started my haircare journey I wore fall wigs. When I started get more confident up-do clips became my best friend. I also occasionally flat iron with my CHI iron or do a flexi-rod set. HTH
